While fishing for Florida Peacock bass you may have the opportunity to
catch any one of these other species. With some of the standard techniques that
we use you will automatically catch additional species other than Peacock bass. If
you would also like to target any specific species pictured here you can
so at no additional charge. Please mentions this when booking you reservation or
to your guide at the dock. Peacock bass fishing is very
diverse, from the back water cannels, to the hidden lakes and urban canal systems. The water fluctuates in depth through out most of the year forcing
us to adapt to constant changes. Urban canal system at times are fantastic, although it may not sound
as glamorous it can and has produced some of the best fishing adventures to
date.
Also while your out on your Florida bass fishing adventure you can count on seeing lots of
the other species like Astronotus
ocellatus Oscars, Cichlasoma
citrinellum (Midas cichlid), Cichlasoma
uropthalmus (Mayan cichlid), Ctenopharyngodon
idella (Grass carp), Micropterus
salmoides (largemouth bass), and Snook and Tarpon.
There are also many different types of birds and Equanta
and Gecko to watch for in between your
hook sets!
