Artificial Big Bass Fishing
When it comes to bass fishing and doing it for as long as I have, you need a break. Before our bass fishing season started here on Lake Okeechobee, I took a nice break and got away from Florida. Artificial Big Bass Fishing commenced once I got back on the water out of Clewiston, Florida.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Charlie Reid. He loves to fish for largemouth bass on Lake Okeechobee strictly with artificial baits.
Lake Okeechobee is preparing for one excellent season. Big bass are beginning to move in and Charlie knows all about this season as he is one of my great repeat clients. He has caught some big bass with me before but this trip was different.
Live bait is generally the best way to catch largemouth bass on Lake Okeechobee this time of year. Charlie would never touch it though. He is well experience angler that knows what he enjoys.
Charlie caught his personal best largemouth bass weighing 8.5 pounds. This female was an absolute monster and beautiful fish. You can’t beat the action this time of year.
It was a wonderful day and a great way to start the season off. Our season here on Okeechobee is the best time to catch the fish of a lifetime like the one Charlie caught. Don’t miss out on your adventure next time visiting the state of Florida.

Florida Double Bass Fishing
Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing is starting to really take way here in Florida. Florida Double Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee is a must experience next time traveling to the state. Big bass are beginning to move in off the main lake getting ready for their first big spawn.
I had the pleasure to have a double on this amazing day. Our first trip was with John and his family traveling from Canada. The weather was nice with sunny skies and a nice breeze out of Slims Fish Camp
Largemouth bass on Okeechobee were not cooperating as much as we would have liked on this trip. I gambled and found some quality fish and spots throughout the day. I told them on our final spot that “If we don’t get a bite, I am going to hire a guide myself.” Luckily, we put some nice largemouth in the boat.
Our second trip, I had the pleasure of taking out the Simard Family traveling from Ottawa Canada. Skies were still sunny and the trip had a much different spot. We started at the same spot with a much different outcome.
The fish bite right away and we did not have to move much. We had several quality bass in the boat with the biggest weighing 5.5 pounds on this Florida double bass fishing trip.
Being on Lake Okeechobee in 80 degree weather is something you cannot beat. Don’t miss out on your adventure today during this incredible season.

Fishing Clown Knifefish
When you are traveling to Florida, keep an open mind on how you spend your time in the outdoors. South Florida is home to many amazing attractions you can partake in. Fishing Clown Knifefish is most certainly one of them.
I had the pleasure of fishing with great clients on the Lake Ida Chain of Lakes. Palm Beach County is the perfect location to catch a variety of species. Inner City Fishing is highly exciting.
We had a great day out on the water. My clients were excited to catch 4 Clown knifefish, 15 peacock bass and a bunch of largemouth bass. It is always enjoyable to watch the customer catch a clown.

Strictly Artificial Bass Fishing
Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing out of Clewiston, Florida is taking off. A cold front moved in and dropped temperatures but that did not stop the bass from continuing to move in for their spawn. Strictly Artificial Bass Fishing can get tough but knowledge, patience and experience can trump it all.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Steve and Taylor traveling from Florida to fish beautiful Lake Okeechobee out of Clewiston. They have been fishing with me for many years and are incredible bass fishing anglers.
They are strictly artificial bass fishing anglers and do not like to use live bait. There are higher rewards fishing for largemouth bass on artificial baits for them. Cold fronts can really affect the artificial bite but they managed to catch some monster fish.
We had a blast on the water on this trip. Several quality bass were caught on Bass Assassin baits and Bovarney Swim Jigs. Swim baits and flipping rigs were the most effective with the biggest bass in the boat weighing 7.5 pounds.
Season is starting to look incredible and I am looking forward to fishing with Steve and Taylor again in the future. Don’t miss out on your adventures in Florida this season.
