Florida Everglades Fishing Reports
When the water levels are down there’s not a better fishery in the state of Florida. These fish start spawning in February, they may spawn in the canals or the flats depending on the water level. If the water is down you will be fishing the channel systems thru out the Everglades. Do not look down on this, if the water is down it concentrates the fish. Which leads to big numbers. How big you ask?, 100 plus bass a day in many cases, we have had days of 200 plus fish in some circumstancing. It’s not uncommon to catch 3,4,5,6 pound bass, but if you’re looking for that double digit fish this probably is not the location for you. Stick to the big Florida lakes, but if you are looking for all day action with artificial lures this is the only to be place.
